Our Eggshell Powder is made from 100% eggshells that are crushed into a fine powder. Eggshells are a great source of calcium which is essential for strong bones and teeth. In addition to calcium, eggshells also contain other beneficial nutrients such as magnesium, potassium, and phosphorus which are important for their overall wellbeing.
A great additional boost of calcium and works well for DIY raw feeders looking to get that balanced nutritional diet.
Calcium is especially important for puppies and senior dogs, as they have higher calcium requirements. Eggshells are a natural and easily digestible source of calcium, making them a great addition to your dog’s diet.
Eggshells are high in phosphorus, which can be harmful to dogs with kidney failure. It’s best to consult with your veterinarian before giving your dog eggshells if they have kidney issues.
Feeding Guidelines:
Dogs: Per 10kg | 1.5g grams daily
Cats: Per 4kg | 0.3g grams daily
Scoop included – 1 x full scoop approximately weighs 3 grams.
Mix with food.
Store in a cool dry place.
If you feed your dog bones – it is recommended to reduce the amount of Eggshell Powder.
